Since 1949, Library Binding has made a total commitment to our customers to provide libraries with the finest craftsmanship for the rebinding of books, and the binding of periodicals.

Most of the methods used in the bindery are still being done by hand, using methods that are tried and proven over years of use. It has always been our policy to maintain the highest quality of workmanship to provide our customers the very best product.

All books and magazines are bound in strict accordance to the highest library specifications as approved by the American Library Association, and we guarantee our workmanship.

We believe the customer comes first and we are always ready to lend a helping hand, and go that extra mile to promote friendliness and good will.

PICTURE BOUND

Selected books in your library can be rebound with a picture cover to increase readability. Each book will have a color illustrated cover and will be rebound according to Class A specifications.

JACKET BOUND

A specialized binding using the entire dust jacket, including the front and back flaps with the blurb, to produce a hard bound library book. Dust jackets with the flaps removed cannot be Jacket Bound.

BOOKS

A book is a single unit that is bound without making a record of the spine stamping to match other bound books in your library.

PLASTIC BOUND

A hard bound binding for paperback books. Paperback books with worn covers will require special handling and mending to prepare them for binding. This work done on an hourly rate. Books with self-adhesive clear plastic covers, books with torn and missing covers or spiral bound paperbacks are not suitable for PLASTIC BOUND and will be rejected and returned unbound.

THESIS/DISSERTATIONS

Bound in your choice of color with stamping on spine and front cover in gold, white or black.

TEXTBOOKS

Budget cuts have made it important to extend the life of worn out textbooks by rebinding instead of buying new books.

It is also possible to rebind textbooks with missing pages. We will copy and replace missing pages at no additional charge.

Rebound textbooks are sewn for durability and long life, using washable Buckram in a color of your choice, with lettering on the spine.
