Frank Jasek founded Library Binding in 1949 in Waco, Texas. Frank was originally from Illinois, where he worked for a bindery. The owner was interested in finding new markets, so he sent Frank to Texas to scout around. Dallas, Austin and other bigger cities already had binderies, but Waco did not, so Frank settled there and started the company. He bought it out in the 1950's and ran the company until he passed away in 1988. His wife, Joan, ran the company with the help of her son, James Jasek, for several years until she retired in 2000. James Jasek now runs the company.
No order is too small for us. We will bind one book for an individual, or a thousand at a time for a library.
